Rock Dog Advanced Screening

Social media has become a great way to get news and information on the fly. Scrolling through Instagram one morning, I saw another Mom Blogger post about an advanced screening of a kids film, and immediately jumped at the chance. It’s a long holiday weekend, and I figured it would be a great activity for the boys to experience. I reached out and we were selected to attend! (It was not guaranteed)

Since we would be commuting to Times Square, I wanted the boys to be comfortable while still looking dope! You may recognize their kicks from my Zara Haul. They love these sneakers and wear them all the time! The colors are neutral so they go with everything in their ever expanding wardrobe!

Caleb is wearing a checked shirt and patchwork denim from Osh Kosh. His specs are prescription from Zenni Optical.

Joshua is wearing a printed shirt and black denim from H&M. (He was over my pictures at this point)

Before the movie actually started they had activities for the kids to participate in, such as coloring pages, balloon artistry, and face painting. My boys love to draw so they did the coloring station and the face painting. We didn’t have time for the balloon art as the line was too long, and the movie was starting!

The movie was great and the message is so good for kids! Live your own life, not the life your parents have envisioned for you; then you will truly be happy! Rock Dog will be in theaters everywhere this Friday the 24th, if you want to make a movie night of it with your family!
