I’ve always loved fall fashion! It’s all about layering and statement outerwear. OMG and boots, I love a pair of boots in the fall. Today I am here to share the four trending coats that you can incorporate into your wardrobe this season. First up, I am wearing a shacket, yes you read that right. A button-down shirt + a jacket = shacket!
I purchased this one last week from ZARA online. It’s the perfect length for me, I am not a huge fan of the shorter versions that are also trending at the moment. I no longer see it on the website, but I’ve linked some other options here. I am wearing a simple outfit under which is my go-to base for layering any outerwear piece.
A pair of leggings, jeans, harem pants, joggers, the options are endless and a basic tee shirt. I have basic tee shirts in primary colors by the dozens in black, white, grey, tan, and navy. They are like $5 each at Primark and I get them in both short and long sleeves. Today the shacket is the star of the show, but this base can be used for blazers, kimonos, teddy coats, and more.
Speaking of teddy coats, they are back again this year. If you didn’t get on board last year, now is the time. There are more color options this season. I like to keep the teddy coat neutral so it can go with almost everything in my wardrobe, but I also have a red one to add a pop of color!
Mixing hard and soft materials is also something that I play around with from time to time. Wearing a feminine slip dress, then juxtaposing a leather moto jacket over it will forever be a style story.
Linked one from ASOS here for ya! There’s just something very badass about a moto jacket, also works with my outfit base mentioned above.
Something I have been looking to add to my wardrobe, but haven’t been able to yet is a trench coat. Think classic Burberry, but on my budget LOL! I came across this beautiful COACH option for less than $250, linked here.
I’m obsessed with this one from Topshop via ASOS because it has the classic trench cut and style, but has a bit of edge that more fits my style. Super affordable, I’ve linked it here.
That’s my quick little round-up, I hope you found this post helpful. How many of you already have some of these options in your closet? What’s on your Fall Fashion wishlist? Here’s to a super chic fall for us all. Thanks for reading!!
