The 6 Shoes I Bought for Spring/Summer 2018

Hello, how are you? I know it’s been a while, but Mercury is in retrograde and what not and your girl has been laying low, literally. But while I have been laying low, I have been doing some shopping, or retail therapy if you will. I wanted to pop in and share with you because, you may need these shoes in your wardrobe for Spring, when she decides to show up, and for Summer! And even better they are all under $100, you know I love a deal sis!

Nike Huarache Women's SneakersNike Huarache Women's SneakersNike Huarache Women's SneakersThe first pair of shoes I recommend is a comfortable, yet stylish sneaker. I am not here for the ugly or dad sneaker trend, I think they are, well, ugly. These Nike Huaraches have been on my personal sneaker wishlist for some time, I happened to score this pair at the Nike Outlet for $60! That is a steal, considering these go for about $110-150. I have linked them here, currently on sale, and they come in a variety of colors! I wore them to work this past weekend and they are a dream on the feet. I am recommending these for comfort because as Moms we usually have a jampacked summer with the kids; from amusement parks, picnics, trips, and more! These will be amazing for those hours of walking around with the children this Summer!

A Tribe Called Quest X VansA Tribe Called Quest X VansA Tribe Called Quest X VansA statement sneaker for the culture. This may not be a necessity for everyone, but when I found out A Tribe Called Quest, did a collaboration with Vans I signed up immediately for notifications. This group has been so prolific in the culture of hip-hop and I needed these for my collection, my fourth pair of Vans. The print is what really spoke to me and my wardrobe. I can do so many pattern play looks with these and the black and white all over wording are tracklists from their albums. The collection dropped April 6th and this pair is already sold-out! Check out the collection here.  They have a few pairs for kids too, the boys weren’t a fan so I didn’t get any for them, but my niece scored this pair, for the culture!

Zara Slides with FringeZara Slides with FringeThe next pair of shoes I will tell you to run and buy, are a pair of statement flats. I always love the selection at ZARA at this time, I literally want to add every sandal to my cart. These came in at a beautiful $35.90 and they also come in black! You have been warned, I will probably be living in these all Summer. With jeans, with dresses, with shorts, with EVERY SINGLE THING!

Missguided Black and Clear Heeled MulesMissguided Black and Clear Heeled MulesLet’s be clear, LOL! This trend is back and I am here for it. I already love my Yeezy inspired clear heels that I wear all the time, see here and here. These mules, however, have the black piping that made them stand out to me, I scored them for $30! Missguided had a 50% off one day sale and I couldn’t leave them behind, they come in rose gold as well. Be prepared to see clear items from earrings and bags to bracelets and of course shoes. These, unfortunately, will be going back because they are a little too narrow in the front, I will exchange for one size up and see if that helps. I would have modeled them on my foot for you, but my toenails look like Chewbacca, and needless to say, I am in dire need of a pedicure! They are back to regular price but even at $51, that’s still a good buy! Are you here for the transparent trend?

Enzo Angiolini Fallyn Denim Mules

Enzo Angiolini Fallyn Denim MulesWe will be sticking with mules for the remainder of this post! They are themselves another trend that will take you right on through to Autumn. I had to have these statement denim pair once I laid my eyes on them at DSW. At $69.99 would you leave them behind? Didn’t think so, even better, they are having a 20% off sale at the moment, when I tell you to run, I mean RUN! I will be pairing these with many a Canadian tuxedo, denim jumpsuits, denim all over the damn place hunny!

Tibi Nadine Black Mules Tibi Nadine Black MulesTibi Nadine Black Mules#TreatYoSelf with a designer splurge. Well on a budget of course, because frugal. I’ve had my eyes on a pair of Tibi mules since blogger bae Monroe Steele rocks many of their shoes so well. But these retail for over $400 and there was no way I can justify that kind of purchase at this point, so I did what I do best, google my behind off for a better deal. Enter eBay, brand spanking new, in the box, listed at $100! Now I would have paid the $100 with no problem, but I figured let me make an offer and see what happens. I offered $75, and the seller accepted! On all of these resell sites, always make an offer first and see what happens, the seller just might agree and you can walk away with a designer purchase for literally nothing!

The 6 Shoes You Need For SpringThat’s all folks, I think I am done, LOL! I can make all of these work in my wardrobe for the rest of the season. What have you been adding to your wardrobe? Which of these trends are on your radar?! Let me know below!
