Love/Hate Relationship: White Jeans

Okay, it’s the first day of June. This can only mean one thing, Summer is around the corner. There’s something about Summer and white jeans, they go together like Jay-Z and Beyoncé. But with two active kids, I am always weary of wearing white jeans for obvious reasons. Also, if you’ve ever ridden the NYC subways, you know all too well, white jeans on the trains are a huge risk.

Today for a meeting, I paired my white high waisted denim with this striped one shoulder ruffled top, that I am in love with! We all know by now, I am a fan of showing off my shoulders. I kept the look comfortable with my Converse sneakers, but switched upon arrival into my fave minimal heels.

Did you click the link for this top? Can you believe that price? I’m contemplating getting the other color, because that is literally a steal. The quality of the shirt is pretty good, it doesn’t feel or look as cheap as it’s priced. Just a little tip, if you consider purchasing the top, I would size up. This is a medium, and it’s quite snug around the arms. I look forward to wearing this top with maybe a pencil or A-line skirt for wardrobe versatility, over the Summer.
