Graduation Shenanigans

I’m that parent that finds any excuse to take the boys on an adventure! I think it’s super important to celebrate the boys accomplishments, every chance I get. They have reached the end of another successful school year, and that was reason enough for me to reward them.

I plan everything with our budget in mind, so I headed to Groupon. We live in the Poconos, aka waterpark central. There are a few resorts that we have wanted to visit since moving here four years ago, so we started with H20ooohh! at the Split Rock Resort! Groupon had a special, and I saved about 30% on the admission price for our family of four!

The boys weren’t into taking pictures, they were so anxious to get into the water activities. This waterpark is small in comparison to some of their competitors in the area, I would say there are less than ten attractions on the entire property. So it’s good for a quick visit, we stayed about two hours. Caleb & Joshua didn’t want to leave,  they can stay in the water all day if you let them.

I wasn’t able to really go all in on this particular adventure, because HAIR! If you saw my last post, you know I recently had my hair pressed out, I am trying to preserve the style for at least another week, hence the head-wrap!

The boys had a blast, and that’s all that matters to me. It’s true what they say, take time to enjoy the life you have worked so hard to achieve. I know these memories are what they will hold dear as they grow up, and I can’t wait to see what Summer has in store for us.

This is how I showed up to the park, too much? Never dim your light to make others feel brighter, shine on Queens! Thanks for reading, and as always Stay Chic!

The boys swim gear is from Target, and their water shoes are from Walmart. My one shoulder bathing suit is also from Target. The tutu was custom made years ago (inspired by Kelis), and my pool slides are from the Queen Bey’s activewear line at Topshop!

Water activities are fun and all, but please exercise extreme caution this Summer, especially where children are concerned! Be sure to always check Groupon for a good deal. This post is not sponsored!
