Hey guys, I know it’s been a while, I’m just getting over a nasty cold and sore throat. While I was away I went to the grand opening of Primark at the Staten Island Mall last week and picked up some budget friendly pieces! I wanted to share some of those pieces with you in this look today, and how three shoe options can give a completely different vibe!
The base for all the looks will be this $5, thats right, FIVE DOLLAR button down shirt from Primark, and these distressed AE jeans I’ve had since before Caleb was born! Embroidered details like the one on this shirt are a huge trend for Spring, as I mentioned here. Shirts like this are retailing for upwards of $40. Imagine my excitement when I saw the price tag, I wasn’t walking away without it! Now for $5, the material is very lightweight and I honestly don’t expect to have this shirt for years to come. But that’s the downfall of some of these fast fashion retailers, and the upside of buying trends you may not always want to invest in.
For a laid back look, that can work for either night or day depending on your event, I paired the look with my Zara bow flats in nude, which are now on sale! Nude is an obvious go with anything and everything kind of color and flats are great for a Mom on the go!
Another go to shoe option for me, are sneakers. I paired this look with my rose gold Stan Smith Adidas for a hard play on the soft details of the shirt!
I can’t leave you without a heel option. I love to glam up any look, and heels will take this look from day to evening happy hour in no time! I chose these marsala colored lace ups (another Spring trend), because it pulls from the colors in the embroidery of the shirt, and can also be viewed as neutral enough to tie the look together!
