The Birthday Dress That Never Was

If you follow me on my other social media platforms, then you already know, a young thug turned 34 on Saturday. There were about three different birthday festivities I had planned. They included: a walking taco/Stranger Things binge party, a club soirée, and dinner. Days leading up to October 28th, I didn’t feel like doing sh!*

I just wanted to sit my ass down in my home, and do absolutely nothing. How often can I sit and do that? I know people think I sit on my ass all week when I’m not working, and I’m not here to prove myself to anyone. Those who know, understand the struggle. Not to mention, this will be my last weekend off for a while. It was time to sit back and reflect, chill, and love up on my boys!

This year as with every personal new year, I will listen to my spirit more. Take heed to who my vibrations change around, surround myself with positive energy and loving people. I have learned that not everyone who says they love you, actually want to see you win. It’s a sad reality of the world we live in, and it’s okay. When you know better, you do better.

Had I went to dinner that night, this would’ve been my look. I had a separate look for the club. I’m telling you, shawty had plans. This dress and these boots actually were both purchased from two different blogger sales, because budget. Not one to let a look go to waste, I threw it on today to stroke my ego. The weather is changing, so I won’t get to wear it soon otherwise. Do what you want, when you want. It makes life so much easier! Cheers to 34 more years 10 times over. Thanks for reading the blog, it means the world to me! As always, stay chic!
