Manus x Machina-MET GALA 2016

Last night was the biggest night in fashion, The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s yearly gala. This year’s theme, Manus x Machina, fashion in an age of technology, was so right for the times we are in! As much as we hate to admit it, technology is taking over our daily lives, little by little.

Here are my Top 5 best dressed of the night:

Beyoncé in latex Givenchy

You know the Queen was going to be on my list, I mean duh, she does no wrong in my eyes. Well except for this eye makeup look, but nonetheless, I still love her!

Ciara in H&M

There was a lot of silver toned looks on the carpet last night. I guess silver equals future and technology, to tie into the theme. Ciara looked amazing in this gown and I loved the accent of her hair! She even said she couldn’t sit down in the car on the way to the event, because she didn’t want the crystals to pop, that’s dedication hunny!

The Smiths, Willow in Chanel, Jaden in Louis Vuitton

As you know they both have working relationships with the designers they are wearing. If you didn’t know, I just told you! I liked their vibe on the carpet, they didn’t let the clothes speak for them, they let their attitudes and personality shine through. They are a fun quirky duo.

Zendaya in Michael Kors

I loooove Zendaya as a young woman. She has a good head on her shoulders and a great voice for her generation. She’s also a mini fashion icon in the making, keep an eye on her! Loved her look. She better WERK!

Poppy Delevingne in Marchesa

I don’t really follow this model’s life, so I knew nothing about her, until last night. She was one of the first looks that popped up on my timeline last night, and I knew it was going to be a fave. From the accessories to the dark vampy lips and nails, I loved how this look was styled from head to toe!

Who were some of your faves from last night’s Met Gala? Watch the video below about the exhibition:
